FAIR TRADE

We serve as a bridge between high-quality Tibetan handicrafts and a growing world-wide market. We are developing a network of handicraft co-operatives amongst nomadic communities of the Himalayas. We work with local artisans to produce uniquely products that are highly marketable. Using fair-trade principles, we create markets for these handicrafts in our cafes and worldwide through our online store. These sales significantly enhance the economic viability of these nomad communities in a way that brings dignity and satisfaction to all involved. Currently, our product portfolio includes Tibetan jewelry, yak-hair bags, yak-wool apparel, and yak-milk soap.
